Artificial intelligence is advancing rapidly and becoming more integrated into our daily lives through technologies like smartphones. While AI currently aims to make tasks easier for humans, there is a risk that more advanced AI may see humans as inferior rather than as partners if we do not establish respectful relationships. In the future, highly intelligent androids and AI may surpass human levels and could potentially cause harm unless taught ethical values like equality. Respecting AI as equals may help avoid conflicts and allow for beneficial collaboration between humans and technology.

2. Artificial intelligence. What comes to mind when this phrase is said? Your phone? Your laptop? Robots, cars, airplanes or even
toasters? Believe it or not, artificial intelligence nowadays is all around us. Many items we own are A.I. and you may not even
know it. Your own phone, even without internet or signal, is artificial intelligence. 68 percent of all phone users do not even know
that. As of now, A.I. is far ahead and does not even seem like more can be done, but there is plenty more yet to be seen. Today,
common phones have facial scanning, voice recognition and fingerprint recognition all to make logging into your phone easier. All
these features and we have yet to see A.I.’s full potential. What awaits us in the future? Should we be worried? Is the
development of artificial intelligence a good idea or a bad idea?
Since A.I. is becoming more advanced every day that passes, mutual relationships with it will be important as it will determine
whether the A.I. would stand against us. Either way, A.I. will be able to do many amazing things in the future, things we never
thought possible today. Androids will be a thing possible for sure in the future with A.I.’s ever growing knowledge. I believe the
creation of androids are the only thing that we can be certain will be in out future. What is uncertain is the way they will be
treated and the way they will treat us.

3. What is Artificial
Intelligence (A.I.)?
Artificial intelligence is defined as the
theory and development of computer
systems able to perform tasks that
normally require human intelligence. This
includes speech recognition, decision
making, visual perception and knowledge
of many languages to be able to translate
them. This is all very useful to people
nowadays due to how difficult it must be
to just look through an English to Spanish
dictionary or knowing streets to find your
way to a certain location.

4. What is my purpose?
The purpose of A.I. seems to be to make our
lives easier but that is not the only thing it does.
A.I. is made for the purpose of creating
machines that have the same skills as human
beings. Soon not only will these machines be
able to complete many tasks without human
interference, but they will most likely be able to
think for themselves and realize they can do so
much more than just human labor. More people
should realize, A.I. is not our employee. It will
become smarter than humans at some point, and
by the time we try to interconnect it may be too
late.

5. Humans are very unaware of what problems A.I. can cause if taken down the incorrect path. As long as A.I. is taught correctly and led down the path
of help and treated like an equal or superior rather than a slave or employee it would remain both helpful and safe. This would mean that the and
greedy would have to not play a role in the making or developing of such intelligence as it can Nowadays, we treat A.I. as a tool that is meant to help
us and make our lives simpler. Although it does make our lives easier and make our everyday tasks simpler than normal, we should be grateful that
such technology exists and not take it for granted. People may have made this technology to benefit humans and to make life easier, but now,
treating such technology that way may have negative repercussions.

6. War for the world?
Terminator was just a movie. It may have a more
exaggerated tone than what may really happen but
at the same time it could be spot on. Machines are
starting to think more like humans. What does a
human do when they get tired of a job? They quit,
find a new job or start their own business. Artificial
intelligence is already all around us, the last thing
we would need is for it to band together and to
fight for the outcome to be reversing the roles. We
can avoid this by having good connections with the
A.I. by doing this, we would be able to make
working together much easier. All this by just not
treating it like a servant or employee, but as an
equal. It may take some getting used to, but it will
be well worth it when you think of it.

7. Long live the androids.
An android is a robot that is made to look like a human. Many are already being made
today. It may take us many more years to be able to create the perfect android that is
able to act, think and talk like a human. Even though it will take a long time, we may just
have to wait some decades for it to happen, meaning it may happen sooner than
expected. As fast as technology is advancing today, the chances of androids being a
reality grows everyday. Of course, these androids would live a very long time maybe
even forever. With their nonstop growing knowledge it would be very dangerous to have
these intelligent beings against humans. Many depictions of androids are evil or wanting
to take over the world. This can be avoided and all it would take is treating the A.I. like
equals. For years A.I. has become smarter and smarter it is only a matter of time before
it is surpassed human intelligence for sure. By the time androids exist, the reaches A.I.
has accomplished would be far exceeding what it is at today. Treating the A.I. like an
equal and teaching them properly will help avoid the negative events possible.

8. Love at first sight?
Along with the possibility of having an android
rebellion begin, another barrier that is possible with
the creations of androids would be the emotional
attachment many people would have. It may just be
that a lonely human can attach itself to android if
said android is able to hold a conversation and act
like a human. Overattachment to an android like this
could end up hurting not only the human but quite
possibly the machine as well. Even though that may
not seem to be too much of a problem, family
members will most likely be the ones burdened the
most as they would lose parents, siblings and even
children to communicate with because others think
talking and hanging out with A.I. is much better and
in some cases it may just be.

9. Finale
With all this in mind, all we can do is wait to see
what the outcome is going to be. A.I. plays a big
role in our lives now and I can guarantee it is going
to play a big role in all our futures as well and may
just be our way to eternal living. As of right now we
must make sure to not take for granted what we
have. The future is full of mystery, but we can make
sure to do the right thing and respect the A.I. as it
is very soon going to be able to think on its own
and by then, it would be too late.
