1. Facts about Arthritis
If you or any one of your family or friends is

exercise is one of the most effective ways through which one can fight arthritis. People
suffering from osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis can derive some specific benefits
through resistance type and endurance based exercises. As the disease mostly affects
the knee joints, regular exercise and weight management can go a long way in providing
relief from this painful condition, when less pressure is exerted on the knees.
The common belief that arthritis is an incurable disease, a lot can be done to obtain
temporary or even long-term relief. Depending upon the stage of arthritis, different
treatment options are available, and some new treatments are also being introduced.
Since arthritis is not a disease which can be cured in a single day, different pain relieving
methods are also available that will help the patient deal with this disease in the most
effective and painless manner. Many medicines in the form of oral analgesics or
lubricants are available and can be applied over the affected area for temporary relief.
