Compliance and Vetting Procedures

All Arrows Group healthcare
staff are put through a rigorous
vetting and registration process
that adheres to Care Quality
Commission (CQC) and industry
standard regulations that are
subject to external and internal audits.
Vetting procedures check list:
• Formal Interview and Clinical Assessment:	
This is conducted by our Nurse Manager, a	
qualified RGN
• Enhanced Criminal Recrords Disclosure 	
(CRB) Disclosure updated annually
• CV detailing 5 yrs employment history
• Valid Passport + Visa
• Driving Licence
• 2 x References
• Proof of Address
• NI Number and copy of Card
• Immunisation details
(Hep B, Rubella,Varicella, TB, HIV and HEP	
C, checks for EPP)
• NMC card
• Quarterly audit of NMC register
In addition to this, Registered
Midwives must produce the following:
• In date CTG training
• Intention to practice
• Adult and Infant CPR training
Training:
The following training is offered to all
Arrows Group Healthcare staff:
Induction: Fire Safety, POVA, Food Hygiene,
Infection Control, and Arrows Group Induction.
Annual: Manual Handling and Basic Life
Support/CPR training.
Specialist training modules that include:
PMVA, IV, Cannulation and Venepuncture.
All our staff are supplied with an Arrows
Group Healthcare Staff Book that contains
detailed information on polices, procedures
and general advice.

Key Skill Sets

they are able to provide to their patients.
Arrows Group Healthcare have a highly skilled,
mobile workforce which enable us to work in
partnership with our clients in supplying key staff on
a 24/7 basis. We are very proud of our staff and the

Healthcare Assistants:
All our HCA’s are NVQ2 qualified and
available to place into last minute 24/7
shifts or on longer term contracts / lines
of work.
Midwives:
Our dedicated Midwifery Service
specialises in providing high calibre,
experienced midwives to the NHS. Our
Midwives are available on a 24/7 basis
and also for longer term contracts / lines
of work. We benefit from a full time Clinical
Midwifery Manager who is responsible for
recruitment and training for all of
our Midwives.
Specialist Nurses:
(A&E, ITU, PICU, RSCN, HDU, CCU &
THEATRE, OPD, ODA)
Our Specialist Nurses are supported by
our Clinical Nursing Team in order to make
sure that they are fully equipped to fulfil
their duties, and also to ensure they are
supported both on and off site.
RGN’s:
Our teams of RGN’s are experienced Nurses
who make up a highly flexible workforce that
enables our NHS Trust Hospitals to bolster
their existing staffing options.

Healthcare Assistants: All our HCA’s are NVQ2 qualified and available to place into last minute 24/7 shifts or on longer term contracts / lines of work. Midwives: Our dedicated Midwifery Service specialises in providing high calibre, experienced midwives to the NHS. Our Midwives are available on a 24/7 basis and also for longer term contracts / lines of work. We benefit from a full time Clinical Midwifery Manager who is responsible for recruitment and training for all of our Midwives. Specialist Nurses: (A&E, ITU, PICU, RSCN, HDU, CCU & THEATRE, OPD, ODA) Our Specialist Nurses are supported by our Clinical Nursing Team in order to make sure that they are fully equipped to fulfil their duties, and also to ensure they are supported both on and off site. RGN’s: Our teams of RGN’s are experienced Nurses who make up a highly flexible workforce that enables our NHS Trust Hospitals to bolster their existing staffing options.
