This PhD thesis critiques the prevailing theory of judicial reform in international development assistance. organization structure and behavior, identify areas of needed improvement, point out a list of
actionable items for the company to improve its performance and how to implement those. This
case outlines our team’s consulting process to produce a final case write-up.
CASE OUTLINE
1. Introduction (at least 1 but no more than 2 pages)
Overview and history of TechEdge (one or two paragraphs)
TechEdge offered technology consulting service to other business, in a B2B business model.
According to Prabhu & Hedgei, the company structure was divided into sales, consulting,
support and services, back office operations, finance and software. All these departments were
led by vice presidents who reported to the CEO. The VPs assisted the managers, who led their
teams independently in their departments.
TechEdge: Main Organizational Behavior issues (half - 1 page)
The case presented a summarized list of challenges faced by TechEdge. (For next assignment,
List 5 major reasons listed on the case on page 5). Our consulting team identified a few
behaviors that might be driving these 5 major issues. These are:
§ HR v. VP responsibilities
o HRs responsibilities limited to recruiting while VPs were managing, training and
evaluating performance of the employees.
o HR not assisting with people management issues.
§ Team leader v. VP responsibilities
o Team leaders were responsible for team performance, but each team member
reported to their respective VP.

Equity theory proposes that individuals judge the fairness of their outcomes and inputs relative to the outcomes and inputs of others. When individuals perceive inequity, they may feel distressed and be motivated to restore equity.
The case study examines issues with executive compensation at a large bank. Equity theory suggests executives likely compared their compensation to others inside and outside the company. However, the board failed to properly consider all relevant referents when setting pay. This likely led to perceptions of inequity.

The project or reducing the congestion in highways and enhancing speed of movement is important to the Asian city in the sense that it will result to an increase in economic growth. This is because people will be able to move faster and engage in trading and business as well as employments on time something that will increase their income. However, the project involves efficient consulting on how to build the roads well and also the avoiding the incidences of corruption, which may reduce the faster construction of in the project (Lynch & Walsh, 1998). The evaluation of the data effectiveness as I will be evaluating will be determined with various information of data as explained below.
The project will be effective since there is an organized set of events that will have to be followed in the construction. The work of each worker has been clearly established and that all workers are accountable to any slow work and lose in the areas that they are assigned to work. I will use the information involving the workers’ jobs amount in each day of working and this will determine the extent of the salary that they will be paid. In doing this the workers will be able to work extra hard to get more salary something which will increase the effectiveness of the project.
Beside this, the relations of each worker and external individuals will be another set of data, which I will be able to consider in the evaluation of the project effectiveness. This will entail supervision to make workers be vigilant and relate well generating teamwork among them. Also the supervision will be able to determine if there is corruption which top management in the construction is using either to favor some workers or embezzle some funds something, which will help to increase the efficiency of the project. The rural and urban linking highways will be generated and high speed being achieved in the movement will be the best work, which will result from this project since the data will be analyzed every day making the work be of high quality (Chou & Talalay, 1984).

There are diverse ideas about governance around the world, and this paper studies them through the following questions: (a) what does the available evidence tell us about the political and institutional requirements for sustained economic growth? (b) What do we need from the state to secure growth? (c) How do a country’s internal characteristics support or impede its growth? (d) How does the external environment of a country influence its economic growth prospects? These elements are then put together into a model of growth, from which we derive conclusions about governance arrangements. Thus the paper outlines a simple framework within which to think about the political economy of growth that can be summed up in five points: good government, with secure political conditions; credible macroeconomic stability; savings and investment high enough to sustain adequate growth; openness to the world economy; and the discipline of external engagement. It then argues that the growth model needs to be underpinned by suitable governance arrangements, and suggests that good governance has two main elements, each quite complex in practice, namely: protection of property rights, and accountability of government.

This information is used for ongoing training and to identify any patterns that could help prevent future abuse. Reporting processes are also reviewed and updated based on analysis of past incidents.

Our consulting team, RAL Consulting, was hired by TechEdge to evaluate its current
organization structure and behavior, identify areas of needed improvement, point out a list of
actionable items for the company to improve its performance and how to implement those. This
case outlines our team’s consulting process to produce a final case write-up.
CASE OUTLINE
1. Introduction (at least 1 but no more than 2 pages)
Overview and history of TechEdge (one or two paragraphs)
TechEdge offered technology consulting service to other business, in a B2B business model.
According to Prabhu & Hedgei, the company structure was divided into sales, consulting,
support and services, back office operations, finance and software. All these departments were
led by vice presidents who reported to the CEO. The VPs assisted the managers, who led their
teams independently in their departments.
TechEdge: Main Organizational Behavior issues (half - 1 page)
The case presented a summarized list of challenges faced by TechEdge. (For next assignment,
List 5 major reasons listed on the case on page 5). Our consulting team identified a few
behaviors that might be driving these 5 major issues. These are:
§ HR v. VP responsibilities
o HRs responsibilities limited to recruiting while VPs were managing, training and
evaluating performance of the employees.
o HR not assisting with people management issues.
§ Team leader v. VP responsibilities
o Team leaders were responsible for team performance, but each team member
reported to their respective VP.

o Lack of unity and shared objectives
§ Group v. Team structure.
o Different departments working together as temporary teams without a clear
common objective. Each department was more focused on their own tasks.
§ General sense of unaccountability between teams:
o All teams felt they didn’t receive adequate support from the operations
department
o Dissatisfaction from Operations VP: Complaints about overload of work,
dependency on external factors, and not enough time to fulfil other teams’
expectations
o Finance team complained about not having enough funds due to bad performance
of the sales team

Equity theory proposes that individuals judge the fairness of their outcomes and inputs relative to the outcomes and inputs of others. When individuals perceive inequity, they may feel distressed and be motivated to restore equity.
The case study examines issues with executive compensation at a large bank. Equity theory suggests executives likely compared their compensation to others inside and outside the company. However, the board failed to properly consider all relevant referents when setting pay. This likely led to perceptions of inequity.
Procedural justice principles also were not fully followed in determining compensation. To promote motivation and fairness, organizations should structure executive pay to link it to firm performance while avoiding a focus only on short-term gains. Government intervention in compensation risks

The project or reducing the congestion in highways and enhancing speed of movement is important to the Asian city in the sense that it will result to an increase in economic growth. This is because people will be able to move faster and engage in trading and business as well as employments on time something that will increase their income. However, the project involves efficient consulting on how to build the roads well and also the avoiding the incidences of corruption, which may reduce the faster construction of in the project (Lynch & Walsh, 1998). The evaluation of the data effectiveness as I will be evaluating will be determined with various information of data as explained below.
The project will be effective since there is an organized set of events that will have to be followed in the construction. The work of each worker has been clearly established and that all workers are accountable to any slow work and lose in the areas that they are assigned to work. I will use the information involving the workers’ jobs amount in each day of working and this will determine the extent of the salary that they will be paid. In doing this the workers will be able to work extra hard to get more salary something which will increase the effectiveness of the project.
Beside this, the relations of each worker and external individuals will be another set of data, which I will be able to consider in the evaluation of the project effectiveness. This will entail supervision to make workers be vigilant and relate well generating teamwork among them. Also the supervision will be able to determine if there is corruption which top management in the construction is using either to favor some workers or embezzle some funds something, which will help to increase the efficiency of the project. The rural and urban linking highways will be generated and high speed being achieved in the movement will be the best work, which will result from this project since the data will be analyzed every day making the work be of high quality (Chou & Talalay, 1984).

There are diverse ideas about governance around the world, and this paper studies them through the following questions: (a) what does the available evidence tell us about the political and institutional requirements for sustained economic growth? (b) What do we need from the state to secure growth? (c) How do a country’s internal characteristics support or impede its growth? (d) How does the external environment of a country influence its economic growth prospects? These elements are then put together into a model of growth, from which we derive conclusions about governance arrangements. Thus the paper outlines a simple framework within which to think about the political economy of growth that can be summed up in five points: good government, with secure political conditions; credible macroeconomic stability; savings and investment high enough to sustain adequate growth; openness to the world economy; and the discipline of external engagement. It then argues that the growth model needs to be underpinned by suitable governance arrangements, and suggests that good governance has two main elements, each quite complex in practice, namely: protection of property rights, and accountability of government.
