7. Fortele Terestre reprezinta cea mai importanta
componenta a Fortelor Armate Romane si sunt destinate
realizarii de diferite actiuni militare, cu carecter terestru
sau aeromobil, in orice zona sau directie.
Trebuie sa asigure desfasurarea operatiunii defensive sau
ofensive, pentru capturare, distrugere sau invazie, fiind
parte a structurilor militare nationale, multinationale sau
internationale.
O parte dintre unitatile care compun actuala structura
compozitionala a Fortelor Terestre, trebuie sa fie capabila
sa efectueze operatiuni militare in afara teritoriului
national, impreuna cu fortele militare in ternationale.
