Our anxieties and cares are the offshoot of our wealth and possessions and they deplete the life-force share of creative vibratory elements ether and air, thus effecting the vital organs of our body (viz. mind and heart) that derive sustenance from these elements.
Temptation begins by capturing your attention. What gets your attention arouses your emotions. Then your emotions activate your behaviour, and you act on what you feel. The more you focus on “I don’t want to do this,” the stronger it draws you into its web.
Ignoring a temptation is far more effective than fighting it. Once your mind is on something else, the temptation loses its power.
Spiritually, your mind is your most vulnerable organ. To reduce temptation, keep your mind occupied with God’s Word and other good thoughts.

Have you ever needed strength, courage, or boldness to face your fears, trials, or the approaching enemy? It is easy to get overwhelmed by the things in this life that you cannot control. It is a fact that through this life we will have trials of many kinds that remain outside our control but we do not have to be afraid nor do we have to live in defeat because the Lord has given us a Spirit of Courage not of Fear. God promises that victory is found not by relying on the strength of man or the power of human will rather it is found through this power, provision, and protection. It through the Lord alone that you become UNSHAKABLE in the midst of Changing Times! Based on 1 Samuel 17 the audio portion of this message available at www.stevegedon.com

Selections from World Scripture on the righteous people, teachers, and ordinary people of courage, principle, and conscience who are called to be the internal leaders of society
PREFATORY NOTE.
Some ten or twelve of the brief treatises

to render this MS. into ordinary copy, word for

intellect, as they are largely the product of his

vain.

The Parable of the Sower and the Seed (Luke 8) is about radical transformation from dirt to new life that happens from God's Word and the dangers that come for those seeking spiritual growth!
We've got to allow God to strip down all the years of grime and cheap paint piled on top of each other. He needs to get down to the bare original so He can begin to fill the cracks, sand the rough edges, and make our hearts beautiful again. He’s already looked beneath the layers and has determined that we're all worth doing over.

Renewed in Grace
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
