Concerns with Assignment Two
1B. This is a toughie. Many people could not find the
online version of the article from Chemical
 Communications.
1C. Nobody got extra credit for finding the source that
shows melting point of Cryptopine is 220-221 in another
 source.
4B. Literature Links for Cryptopine – Answer should be
 six. Demo. http://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/
Some people got the extra credit for seeing that the
Journal of the Air Pollution Control Association is in PASCAL,
 not really in Penrose.
The assigned readings

 What did you think of:
Information seeking behavior of scientists in the
 electronic information age
Relying on electronic journals: Reading patterns of
 astronomers
Optional -- Patterns of Journal Use by Scientists through
 Three Evolutionary Phases
Readings for next week are
Fowler Book Chapter (PDF in Bb, print in Ref.)
Tucker Book Chapter (PDF in Bb, print in Ref.)
Accessibility and Use of Information Sources Among
Computer Scientists and Software Engineers in Israel
Scholarly publishing in the Internet age: a citation analysis
 of computer science literature
The assignment due May 11

Hand out the assignment for mathematics and computer
 science resources.
Housekeeping stuff
 Presentation topics: go to http://lis4375.wetpaint.com/
Still need some of you to sign up.

Please contribute or comment on the blog.
