2. • Apple has come to an agreement with the government of Indian
state, Karnataka, to set up a manufacturing plant in Bangalore, aka
Bengaluru.
• Apple has planned to begin the production in India with the iphone
se, which was launched in 2016 mid way for only countries like
India and China.
• Iphone se has been boycotted by many retail stores as well as
consumers in India as it being an iphone 5s size phone still priced
18000 higher then iphone 5s and thus the consumers felt that they
were being fooled by apple Inc.

costs which will enable apple to reduce cost
2) Also, apple has an excellent market in India which
has been growing every year
3) Even at the demonetization phase that created lot of
economic pressure here last quarter, despite that,
apple had all-time record revenue results, and so the
company is highly encouraged regarding the
investment.

5. IMPACT ON INDIAN ECONOMY
 The first and foremost impact is that all apple
products including iphone, imac will get
cheaper to buy in India.
 This can lead to further growth of apple Inc.
market in India
 The problem of lack of service centers of
apple in Indian cities will get resolved
