o 由Jakob Nielsen提出
o 有助於發現設計之可用性問題(usability problems)
o 以小組評估(3-5人)來檢查視使用者介面
o 以可用性原則(啟發式)來獨立性檢視所獲得的抱怨
o 不同評估者會發現不同的問題
o 將結果彙整
o 設計中的UI或草圖就可以做啟發式評估
