Jonathon Sun | Senior (Fall 2015) | Computer Information Sciences
Minors in Asian American Studies and Chinese | Transfer Student
Student organizations: BAAM (Asian American Acapella group), Asian American Association
Hobbies: Playing piano, beatboxing, writing music, reading and video gaming.
Favorite thing about OSU: How easy it is to build a community if you can’t find one. Usually you can find a community, you
just have to look in the right places.
Life motto: Shut up, stop complaining and do it, in most circumstances what you are doing should not kill you.
Gayathri Veeraraghavan | Junior | Biochemistry | Minor in Biology
Student organizations: Indian Students Association, Buckeye Mela Committee, Alpha Epsilon Delta: Pre-med club
Hobbies: Playing piano, Volunteering at Nationwide Children’s hospital, singing when I find the time!
Favorite thing about OSU: No matter what, amongst the 60,000 people on campus you will always be able to find your own
quirky, special group of people that seem to match up with your own interests. OSU is such a diverse community and it really
is true that within such a big university, one seems to make it small for themseelf by finding their interests.
Life Motto: Just do it. (It’s very cliché but very true to who I am and how I work)
Tower Zhou | Sophomore | Finance and Marketing | Minor in Korean
Student Organizations: Undergraduate Student Government, Office of International Affairs, Pengyou Project, Young
Skywaver Scholar Community, International Student Career-Building Association, International Friendships
Hobbies: Singing jazz, writing poems and lyrics, learning new languages, cooking, riding bicycles, playing table tennis and
traveling around the world.
Favorite thing about being at OSU: OSU has a huge campus and processes over a thousand of different student orgs.
Life Motto: By walking out of your comfort zone, you can feel more comfortable.
