APEGS International Mobility (Australia) route
applies to only those engineers who have been
provided with the registration status of MIEAust NER
or MIEAust CPEng NER by Engineers Australia and
whose membership is in good reputation. It doesn’t
include those who are granted registration by means
of a third-party mutual recognition agreement (MRA).

(Australia) is, now, we are about to tell you about its
application process.
Application process:
The following are the 12 steps of the APEGS
application process for International Mobility
(Australia):
1. Create an account in APEGS Central, or log in if
already have one.
2. Check your mail for an ‘APEGS sign-up verification’
from apegs@apegs.ca. The link in this mail will help
you reach directly the APEGS Central homepage.
3. From there, you need to click on the ‘Applications’
quick link on the left side of the page.
4. Choose ‘Apply Now and choose the ‘Engineer-in-
Training – International Graduate’ application type.
For the submission of your application online, pay
the application fee by credit card. Hire an APEGS

5. Contact APEGS and indicate that you are applying
under the Mutual Recognition Agreement with
Engineers Australia.
3. 6. After that, apply for the World Education Service
(WES) ICAP document-by-document credential
assessment. If unable to obtain a WES assessment,
contact APEGS for more information. Alternatively,
notarized/certified copies of related university
transcripts/diplomas can be sent to the authority by
mail. Scanned or faxed copies will not be accepted.
7. Submit the necessary documents to APEGS,
including:
Your identification proof
Your most updated resume
8. APEGS will confirm your Registration with EA and
inform you by mail when you have been approved.
9. An invoice for pro-rated annual Registration fees
will be posted to your online profile. When you have
paid your registration fees, use the ‘engineer-in-
training’ title.
10. You will automatically be provided with a
credit of 36 months of work experience towards
professional membership.
4. 11. After that, you need to complete a Competency-
Based Assessment to show Canadian Experience
Competencies (CECs). You also need to pass the PPE
(Professional Practice Exam), which is on Canadian
law, ethics, and professionalism.
12. Finally, after completing the above-mentioned
requirements, you need to submit a Professional
Member application.
For a successful academic assessment, you need to
go through the APEGS self-assessment. So, you
