Set in 79AD in Pompeii, the story follows Milo, a slave-turned-gladiator who must fight his way out of the arena to save his true love, Cassia, the daughter of a wealthy merchant who has been unwillingly betrothed to a corrupt Roman senator. As Mount Vesuvius begins to erupt, spewing blazing lava, Milo races against time to rescue Cassia before the city of Pompeii crumbles around them from the volcanic eruption.

Seventeen years after seeing his parents and neighbors slaughtered by Roman Senator Corvus and his men,Milo is now a
grown up and enslaved as a gladiator in 79AD .He’s so proficient at fihting that he impresses the laeder of a far off
roman colony and is transferred to Pompeii as a possible challenger to the current slave gladiator chamion, Atticus
En Route, he manages to impress cassia, the daughter of a wealthy and influencial merchant Lucretius and his
wife,Aurelia.Cassia is somewhat enamored with milo, something not lost on her lady in waiting,Ariadne yet someone
elsehas his sights set on cassia and that would be none other than Senator corvus who’s arrived in the city amidst
Lucretius ambitious rebuilding efforts.He’s interested in financing some of that, but only if cassia is thrown into a deal,
something that does’nt sit well with Lucretius as well as Milo.
But slave gladiator must contend with being thrown into the arena with other combatants, including Atticus who’s just
one victory away from obtaining his freedom. As all of that plays out,nearby volcano of Vesuvius begins to rumble back
to life, thus setting into motion a series of events that no one in Pompeii could have predicted.

2. FILM DESCRIPTION
The film opens with scenes of plaster casts of the victims of Pompeii as quotes on the
destruction are made.
In Britannia, 62AD , a tribe of celtic horsemen are brutally wiped out by Romans led by
Corvus.The only survivor is a boy named Milo,whose mother Corvus killed personally. The boy
is captured by slave traders.seventeen years later, a slave owner named graecus watches a class
of gladiators battle. He is unimpressed until he sees the grown Milo ,a talented gladiator the
crowds call “the celt”
