Blyk is a mobile network in the UK that provides free texts and minutes to 16-24 year olds. It is funded by advertising and members receive up to 217 texts and 43 minutes per month. Blyk partners with brands to deliver targeted messages to young people based on their interests and demographics. Over 140,000 members have joined Blyk as it provides a way for brands to interact directly with their target audience. Initial results show response rates around 29%, much higher than other media.
