BHP Billiton farmed into an oil prospect in 2007, contributing funding that saved FOGL shareholders $128 million. BHPB has since decided to exit the project. FOGL currently plans a two well drilling program starting in Q1 2012, with the first well to target the Loligo prospect which contains an estimated 4,700 million barrels of oil. The identity of the second well will depend on the results of the first well and BHPB's results on the Darwin prospect, and FOGL has sufficient funds to drill two wells targeting Loligo or other prospects but not the larger Scotia or Hero prospects.
Botswana Diamonds Mining Review Africa January 2021James AH Campbell
The COVID-19 pandemic has reduced demand for diamonds and cast doubt on exploration programs. However, James Campbell of Botswana Diamonds believes now is a good time for exploration deals. When Campbell was previously involved in the industry during the 2009 financial crisis, his company executed a good deal that led to mine development. Campbell argues that new technologies like structural geology analysis can help reopen areas to diamond exploration. While major new discoveries may be unlikely, Campbell believes smaller deposits can still be found in Botswana through innovative exploration techniques.

Axiom, trading 78% below our A$0.050/share valuation, is focusing on fast tracking initial low-capex DSO production at the large scale Isabel Nickel Project.
Summary:
Excellent recent drilling results have indicated a strong likelihood of premium grades (>1.5% Ni) at Isabel, which will strongly enhance project economics and support project financing.
The current share price is 78% below our base case valuation of A$0.050/share (assuming 2Mtpa initial production), a massive discount amplified by investor concerns over a court appeal by Japanese giant Sumitomo over ownership of Isabel.
Based on the September 2014 resounding court judgement in favor of AVQ, we think that the appeal stands little chance of success.
