Because they have changed, or should I say, some of the way they live their lives have changed. We are living in a connected age and access to information; to views on any given topic, are only a click away. In the digital age, more than ever before, we need to inspire young people, fire their imaginations, immerse, excite, challenge and motivate them. The technology at the teacher’s disposal in the digital age, when mixed with the analogue, holds such potential for inspiration. Learning to teach in this age is a journey all educators must embark on regardless of the stage they think they are currently at.
This keynote will provide an in-depth overview of techniques and tools, practices and environments that will inspire educators to make changes to the way they view teaching with technology and their classroom practice.

- We all needs dreams. Every person in this room has dreams, dreams for the future. To achieve dreams takes belief, confidence and determination.How could negative words impact on all these factors needed to achieve dreams?
- They have the ability to destroy one’s future...However, when used positively they have the power to uplift, motivate and empower individuals to strive and capture their dreams!
- Tell everyone to look under their chairs and those who have an envelope should tear it off, stand up and shout out very loudly, what has been written in their envelopes. (In each envelope there will be an example of positive words or phrases:E.g. Believe in yourself, you are intelligent, your opinion matters, I am proud, you are beautiful, I love to learn, it’s great to smile etc.)
