Portuguese students visiting Finland answered a questionnaire about their experiences shadowing Finnish students. They observed that Finnish students wake up early, eat a small breakfast, and go home from school in the early afternoon. During breaks, students relax or play outside. School lunches have multiple components and classes have a maximum of around 20 students. Lessons last around 45 minutes and most students live in flats with 1-2 bathrooms. The Portuguese students were surprised by the lack of bullying and enjoyed experiencing Finnish culture and technology.
