The Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Lady Brabourne College has been active throughout the year, providing students with national and international interaction programs and recruitment drives from various corporate sectors. In January 2022, Cognizant and TCS conducted webinars and recruitment drives, shortlisting two students and selecting nine students respectively. Offline seminars and sessions resumed in February 2022 after classes switched to in-person. Throughout the year, various organizations including Presidency University of Bangalore, Rice and Avision Institute, and Poshac India Foundation held sessions to inform students about career opportunities and higher education.

1. Annual Report of Career Counselling Committee 2022
The Career Counselling and Placement Cell of Lady Brabourne College has been very active
throughout the year. It has provided our students with several national and international level
interaction programmes as well as recruitment drives in various corporate sectors. On January
2022 Cognizant conducted a webinar for students of English, Sociology and Statistics and they
conducted a recruitment drive for Programmer Trainee, Technical Writer, Instructional Designer
for students of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Statistics. They shortlisted two students for
further interview. TCS conducted a webinar to inform the students about National Qualifying Test
(NQT) and they primarily selected 9 students. The Piramal Foundation conducted a webinar for
Gandhi Fellowship programme on 31st
January. After the college started the offline classes from
February 2022 the committee started again conducting offline seminars and sessions. Presidency
University of Bangalore conducted a session on 9th
March 2022 to make the students aware of the
higher studies facilities there. A one-to-one help desk for students was arranged by Rice and
Avision Institute on 17th
April. On 27th
August 2022 a webinar was held by Poshac India
Foundation, a sec 8 company to make the students aware about the career opportunities in Indian
Defence. Deltax also started recruitment drive on September 2022. The committee conducted a
day-long career fail jointly with IQAC on 20th
September where eminent organisations like SBI,
Techno India, Blue Sky, Global Reach, Edusa, Avision Institute came and conducted intensive
interaction with students.
