2015-2016
At DELTA, we seek to improve the quality of education by harnessing technology to provide ready access
for all learners.The 2015-16 Annual Report highlights DELTA’s continued dedication to student success by
moving and expanding the Centennial Campus testing center, integrating instructional videos, exploring
virtual reality and developing courses with media-rich components.
Renaming DE
This year marked some big changes for NC State’s
Online and Distance Education program — from
changing its name [from Distance Education] to
investing in a new website and deploying a robust
social media element for student recruitment.
Faculty Fellows
Our inaugural Faculty Fellows were named in 2015-
16 — Dr. Kimberly Allen, Dr. Ed Lindsay and Dr. Maria
Gallardo-Williams shared their expertise in teaching
with technology with other faculty and encouraged
their peers to work with DELTA.

DELTA supported more than
75 courses with 13,705 hours of
instructional production.
