9. Friendly Kitchen Reminder
If you have left personal kitchen items at the church please pick
them up. If you accidentally took home church items, please

Adult Sunday School
The adult Sunday school class is studying the Bible with the
video series "Stuff they didn't teach me in Sunday School". Join
us at 9:30 between services in the library.
VBS
Vacation Bible School is coming this summer. July 21 – 25, 6
to 8:30 pm. Weird Animals! Don’t miss out on the fun!!

10. Reminder – Don’t Forget
Your Name Tag
Not everyone remembers your name. We encourage
everyone to wear their name tags. It helps not only our
visitors, but all of us to put a name to a face.

11. Kroger Plus Card
Kroger's will make a donation to Calvary
Lutheran Church for every purchase you make
with your Kroger Plus Card. This does not cost
you anything!! You get the same deals and
coupons, but Kroger will donate a small
percentage of your bill to the church. Small
percents add up if we all sign up. You must do
this once a year to renew. Please log on now
and update your account.

12. Preparation for First Communion classes begins Sunday,
June 15* during the Sunday School hour at 9:30 a.m. and
continues each Sunday through July 6.
We will meet in the Conference Room.
All youth who are eight years old and up are invited to
participate, along with their parent(s) or guardian(s).

Community Meal cookout last
month. It was great weather
and we served a lot of food.
Community Meal
With your support Calvary served the needs of a
number of people and helped make their day a
little brighter.
The next scheduled Community Meal is the last part of July. We will
announce the exact Sunday once it has been firmed up. Please plan on
attending and helping serve our downtown community.

16. SUMMER TIME!
Mowing time has come, and all that goes with it. We need
to keep the outside of our property looking good. Mowing
continues every week. Along with mowing and trimming
we have potted flowers that will need watering everyday
and flower beds that need weeded and mulched. We are
looking for people that like to get their hands dirty to help
us out. You can volunteer for any of these jobs on-line
from our website.

Mr. and Mrs. David Riley, of Chillicothe, are
celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on May
29th. An open house celebration with family and

2:00-4:00PM on Sunday, June 8, 2014 in the
