Mr. Askar DG Kamis proposes establishing an annual "Hotelier's Day" on January 19th to recognize and appreciate hoteliers for their hard work and dedication. As a 20-year hotelier himself, he understands the long hours, customer focus, training, and family sacrifices required. Hotelier's Day would celebrate teamwork and commitment to customers. He has shared the idea on LinkedIn and welcomes support and advice to help launch the first Hotelier's Day celebration.

I heard her accent from my office and leaped up to meet the face that matched it. I immediately shared my love of the Irish accent and threw in the fact I was a 1/4 Irish myself. Next time I saw her we hugged and she had a case of Diet Coke in her room during her stay. I miss her dearly but hope to connect next time she is in the US.

Being a hotelier myself for more than 20 years, I would like
to share an idea to establish an International Day for
Hotelier which will be called “HOTELIER’S DAY”. This specific
day is dedicated to hoteliers as an appreciation and a
recognition toward all the hard work and dedication to build
a great team and then together achiving customer
satisfaction as one of our main objective.
It’s definetely a great pleasure to bring this idea to the world and as a hotelier who
experince the same like any other hotelier in another part of the world, we mostly aware
on what it is actually take to be a great hotelier. It’s the long hours, it is the details
preparation of any activities, it’s the regular trainings, it is how we try our utmost to give
customer satisfaction to all our customer and for most of us it is also the sacrifice of
having lack of family time and so much more which hoteliers can share to everyone.
Therefore, " Hotelier's Day" is something we need to establish to celebrate our
achivement for a great team work and our committment to be a great hotelier by
dedicating all our effort to our customers. Then have decided to propose 19 January
2016 as our “ Hotelier’s Day” which will be celeberated annually on this specific date all
over the world.
This “ Hotelier’s Day” idea has been communicated on Linkedin and we are expecting
supports, suggestions and advises from everyone for a better preparation for our first
celebration of our “ Hotelier’s Day”.
