• Hypothermia is what happens when your pet
is exposed to extreme temperatures after a
short period of time. Especially when it is easy
for their fur to become wet. Much like humans,
Hypothermia is a medical emergency that
occurs when your body loses heat faster than it
can produce heat, which causes a dangerously
low body temperature.

Frostbite
• Frostbite begins when an animal’s body gets
too cold. Frostbite is an injury caused by skin
and tissues becoming frozen from being
exposed from cold temperatures. On an animal
it most commonly affects the paws, nose, ear
tips and tail. If a body part is severely
Frostbitten it could actually turn black and fall
off.

for pets if you do not take precautions to keep
