Angola is located in southwestern Africa. It borders Namibia to the south, Zambia to the east, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the north. Portuguese is the official language and most of the population practices Christianity or indigenous religious beliefs. The economy relies heavily on oil and diamond exports.
