Worked to design and develop multiple SSRS reports to support project managers as well as
providing executive level information. The reports ranged from individual project level reports
up to reports that show a complete picture of the statuses for an entire department.

Consulting work with Fortune 500 companies. Provided technical solutions and customizations
to ensure products conformed to company processes. Used Sharepoint and Project Server as
well as other Microsoft technologies to create a cohesive project management environment to
meet the clients needs. Worked directly with clients to help them determine required
specifications for their reports and customizations, making sure to help them design solutions
that fully met their needs.
Notable Engagements:
Pfizer
• Helped secure multiple contract extensions resulting in a multiyear contract.
• Developed a custom reporting solution using SSRS to pull financial and project data
from multiple SQL databases. The solution consisted of 8 reports to provide a complete
picture of the state of the Pfizer projects from a project manager to an executive level.
• Used Javascript to customize the user interface to support dynamic changes not
supported out of the box for a Microsoft Portfolio Management server application.
• Supported an internationally used Project Server installation including handling all
tickets raised by the users. This required me to work directly with Users on a daily basis
to answer technical questions and take their feedback on the customizations developed
by myself and the rest of the team working with Pfizer so we could adjust the
specifications and ensure the customizations fulfilled all the users needs. I also trained
users in the use of Portfolio and Project Management software.
Freddie Mac
• Developed custom reporting solution including 6 SSRS reports pulling data from SQL
Databases. These reports presented project data from the initial idea through project
selection and onto project close. The reports were used to make executive level decisions
determining which projects to fund.
Pfizer Animal Health
• Developed a custom reporting suite to provide clear and detailed reporting at the
executive level. Reporting solution was built using SSRS to display data pulled from
multiple SQL databases and present it in a variety of formats including as a Gantt chart,
a format not natively supported by SSRS.
Mondelez (Formerly Kraft Foods)
• Secured multiple contract extensions resulting in a 4 year engagement
• Created a comprehensive reporting suite to provide reports from the Project to the
Executive level
◦ Reports were built in Visual Studio using SSRS to display data pulled from multiple
databases. The reports displayed both in formats designed for export to excel for
further analysis as well as formats designed to be used directly in powerpoint to
drive executive portfolio management
◦ Created a SQL database to hold extension data allowing me to add project snapshot
functionality to a Project Portfolio Server allowing Project Managers and
Management to compare project performance against projections made throughout
the year. This functionality was not available in the software out of the box. The
package included SQL views and tables, 10+ SSRS Reports designed to wok together
to store and retrieve the data, Stored Procedures
◦ Added security features to a Project Server server farm to completely redesign how
security worked. This included SQL databases, stored procedures, and views to hold
the security information, a sharepoint timer job developed in C# to process the

3. security changes, and a custom sharepoint webpart to display the security
information to the users in a secure manner.
◦ Worked directly with the client to create specifications for multiple SharePoint event
handlers in order to add functionality to a Project Server farm to ensure high data
quality by preventing users from progressing project's workflow if they did not meet
quality standards. The event handlers were created with a combination of SQL to
store data, C# to process the data, and Javascript to dynamically display data quality
issues in projects to the users.
Merck
• Migrated a large SharePoint and Project Server installation in order to facilitate a time
and confidentiality sensitive transfer of data from Merck to Bayer. This involved starting
from stock Windows Server installation, setting it up to be compatible with the existing
server farm, setting up a full AD in order to add required users, installing and
configuring SQL server, installing and configuring Sharepoint and Project Server,
ensuring the patch levels match between the old and new instances, making
configuration to allow for the system to go from a multiserver farm to a single virtul
server while ensuring no data is lost, Migrating SQL data, Migrating custom reports, and
Migrating customizations developed in C# and Javascript.
Boehringer Ingelheim
• Developed a comprehensive reporting solution as well as providing technical guidance
during installation and maintenance of the sharepoint server farm. Provided training on
report development using SSRS, OLAP, oData, and Excel. Provided training on
Sharepoint timer job development in C#.
