The Anchorage Rescue Mission is an evangelical Christian organization that provides resources to homeless individuals in Anchorage, Alaska. The 100-bed facility offers food, clothing, showers, and nightly chapel services. The Mission also operates a one-year discipleship training program that focuses on Bible study, computer skills, GED preparation, job searching skills, and reliance on Jesus Christ for guidance. Many of the men in the program help build homes for Habitat for Humanity and receive vocational training in culinary arts, construction, and other skills.
