Anarsa is a traditional sweet snack made from soaked powdered rice, jaggery or sugar, poppy seeds and ghee that is famous in the Gaya district of Bihar and parts of Jharkhand and Maharashtra in India. It has a sweet taste and pastry-like texture and can be enjoyed whenever desired.
