Intelligent, charming, and social, parrots can make
excellent pets, especially for individuals with the patience
and dedication to properly care for them. In addition to
living for decades, captive parrots are very messy and
require constant attention to keep their enclosures clean of
food debris and droppings.

 Many species of parrots can also be very noisy and become
