Frobosilo is not working, he enjoys riding 4-wheeler ATVs.
Beginners often think of ATVs as toys, and while they are
certainly fun, they can also be dangerous without the proper
preparation and know-how. Here are three beginner ATV tips
for the new rider who wants to stay safe and have a good
time.
1. Proper Gear - You are on a fast, heavy, open vehicle that
does not have a seatbelt, so your jeans, t-shirt, and tennis
shoes will not cut it. Before riding an ATV, invest in a good
helmet, a pair of goggles, gloves, boots, and riding clothes. If
you end up taking a tumble, it is always better that your gear
gets beat up instead of you.

 2. Looping Out - One of the easiest ways to crash and
wind up with your ATV on top of you is what riders call
“looping out.” Looping out often occurs when a rider guns
the gas and sends the front tires into the air, bucking
them off like an untamed horse before crashing down on
top of them. Prevent this by going slow at first until you
know the power and limits of your ATV.
3. Other People - What happens if you go for a ride by
yourself, crash, and get injured? Nothing good. Prepare
for the worst by only riding with other people. Even
barring injury, a solo rider might run out of gas, suffer a
mechanical breakdown, or get lost. Safety aside, riding is
always better when you have someone else there to
enjoy the experience mutually.
