AyunRestuWuryansih is a 3rd year Industrial Engineering student at Brawijaya University, Malang who is applying for the "MahasiswaBerprestasi" program. She has a GPA of 3.4 and has been involved in numerous student organizations during her time at university. These experiences have helped her develop skills in communication, networking, leadership, and working well under pressure. After graduation, she is interested in becoming an industrial consultant to utilize her organizational skills and knowledge of industrial management. She hopes to have a positive impact on society through her work.

1. An Essay of Self-Introduction
Must be the best not in but for the world is my motto. It means, I must develop my
potential to have positive impact on society.
I enclose my CV for consideration for the selection of “MahasiswaBerprestasi”. I am currently a
3rd year Industrial Engineering student at Brawijaya University, Malang.
My name is AyunRestuWuryansih and I am from Surabaya. Having mentioned university, the
question immediately arising is of course that of what I study. I major in Industrial Engineering
and minor in Industrial System Management.I was currently studying here for 3,5 years.
As a student in Industrial Engineering, I am receiving a particurally well-rounded education in
engineering, complemented by sciences and humanities. I improved my study skills and I have
earned a grade point average of 3,4 over the last 5 semesters. During my studying in university,
I became interested in organization and began to join student organization, that would give me
great moment to socialize, known a lot of people, develop my personality (such as learning and
seeing the problem from the other side), capability in communication, etc.
My interest in the crganization began while I was in high school. I was first introduced to many
different personality and condition of people as a member of BPH OSIS. Opportunity to join in
one of AIESEC’s event and be peer educator for global issue, that’s HIV-AIDS, made me more
appreciate about humanities, which I know will be extremely helpful to me in establishing my
self. At that moment, I got many experiences because I built a network with the other people
from the other country.
At university, I have joint many kinds of organization, they are DewanTeknik, PMK Yehezkiel,
UAKK, IMTI, and SRK laboratory. And also, I have join in many different comitee to hold an
event. During my organization time, I learned a lot of thing and gained my organizational skill. I
am well accustomed to working successfully in teams, as I am the comiteecaptain of
“IbadahPerayaan Natal” and captain of department 1 in PMK Yehezkiel that manage and hold
the schedule of activity. When money always be main problem to hold an event, I liked think
creative to get it. As for keeping cool under pressure, my experience joining many kind of
organization demonstrate my ability to handle stressfull situations with tact and patient, while
achieving desired results.
Working in private course as teacher and HRD officer is the other activity during studying at
university. I got the job because I wanna get many experience and get money by myself. My
organizational skill were honed during my study at university when I juggled that job as well as
my activity in organization, and received excellent grades despite pressure of time.and also, to
develop my softskill, I got some training about entrepreurship, leadership, and networking
I am particularly interested in industrial management and wanna be an industrial consultant
because my skill and experiences lend themselves most readly to this area. I observed that an

2. industrial consultant need to be highly organized, to know well the truth condition in industry, to
set, to manage the source, to inform and communicate the problem, and have to capability to
have different thinking, innovative, and creative to solve the problem.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing music with electone and writing a note which I hope can
motivate the other, and sometimes I playing music, like electone.
Now, I am concerning to develop SRK laboratory. As the assistant with 7 others, we have focus
on get information about statistic and making module more complex to increase in statistic and
quality engineering capability.
