This document outlines a 2003 military scenario involving deterring Iraq and Iran. It describes deploying multiple task forces from the 3rd Infantry Division and 10th Mountain Division to threaten enemy flanks and chokepoints with ground forces vehicles (GFVs) and javelin missiles. An air-mech-strike brigade is projected from the US consisting of 200 RFVs, 32 helicopters, tanks, armored vehicles and missile launchers. Their theater support base would be in Damman, Saudi Arabia.
