Characters:
We can
assume that
the
protagonist is
on the poster
and with this
assumption
and the title,
we can
assume that
he is a pyscho.
We can back
this
connotation up
with the fact
he is holding a
knife. His
facial
expressions do
not portray
that he is
defending
himself so we
can theorize
he is using it
in an offensive
way.
There is a face
in the knife
but from the
angle of it we
can tell that it
isn’t him,
maybe a
victim or
another
personality.
Iconography:
The knife
creates real
suspense
within the
poster due to
a knife being
an object
linked with
crime and
murder, which
also links to
being involved
in thrillers.
Also the
sparkles on
the knife show
the sharpness
of the knife,
which also
creates
suspicion as
well. The knife
is also a very
large knife
shows more
danger as
well.
