Revelation 13 records the rise and fall
of the United States of America.
America is connected to
the number 13 in a variety of ways, and
its history is clearly linked with the
history of ancient Israel.

3. The number 13 is a very important number in
the life of a Jewish male. On his 13th day
birthday, he is inducted into manhood by a
ceremony known as the Bar Mitzvah. Christ’s
youth is described in Luke 2: 42 - 47
debating the scribes and teachers in the temple
at the age of 12.
It was customary at that age for young men to
begin discussing the Law and questioning their
elders as they prepared for their transition into
manhood.

4. Israel had 13 tribes; although we usually hear
the number 12. Jacob had 12 sons, yet his son
Levi did not receive an inheritance with Israel
because his lineage was to serve in the
temple.
Joseph’s two sons were Ephraim and Manasseh;
they were counted among the 12 sons of
Jacob. There were in fact 13 tribes who entered
into the Promised Land.

5. Early America had 13 colonies, just as

likewise did America begin experiencing powerful
revival at the age of 30.

silver trumpets were blasted as liberty was
proclaimed throughout Israel. America likewise had
50 States. In A.D. 1701, William Penn
signed Pennsylvania’s Charter. Some 50 years later,
a commemorative bell was cast, known as
the Liberty Bell; the passage of scripture engraved
on the Liberty Bell is the same declaration of
Moses in Leviticus 25: 10

of the Lion. To the east of the

Building where a fountain
with four lions sits to represent the
authority of the lawmakers.

14. Ephraim camped due west of the Old
Testament tabernacle and was identified
under the emblem of the Ox.
The Lincoln Memorial stands on the western
part of the Washington Mall.
Abraham Lincoln is the only president who
shared his name with the founder of the
nation of Israel: Abraham.
The legacy of Lincoln was his leadership
during the Civil War. The first battle
of the Civil War was fought at Bull Run and
forever changed America.

15. Reuben camped due south of the Old
Testament tabernacle and was identified
under the emblem of the Man.
The Thomas Jefferson Memorial sits south
of the Washington Mall.
Thomas Jefferson was a deist and a
Unitarian; he did not believe in God; he
was the ultimate humanist who denied
creation and believed man was in charge
of his own affairs, not God. It was in fact
the tribe of Reuben who forgot God’s law
and tried to act upon its own will and
strength as Thomas Jefferson did.
