1. Munira: What parts of your documentary were you most satisfied with?
Me: the part of the documentary that I was most satisfied with is when the curator is telling a
story about the cheese pieces and then there are pictures which appear on the screen which
match what she is saying. Also the music was a master piece
Munira: How successful do you think you were in creating a realistic factual media product?
Me: very successful indeed as we had appropriate footage, our editing was great and the final
piece of the documentary turned out to be pretty good; the end product seemed quiet
professional.
Munira: Which documentary conventions did you use?
Me: Voiceovers, interviews with experts, the realism of our shots for example the way we took
specific shots of the chess pieces.
Munira: How might your use of technology be improved?
Me: well I guess if I were to use this kind of technology more often and more frequently, it
would make a massive improvement as I be more familiar and more comfortable with it.
Munira: Which part of your work do you think OPM liked best and why?
Me: I believe she liked the opening to our documentary the best as some of the shots were
exceptional, according to her. I think she also liked the part that I mentioned earlier when the
pictures matched what the curator was saying. I would say these two moments were the best
for her.
Munira: What key elements do you want to focus on for improvement?
Me: I would like to improve on my editing and be more comfortable with it. Three things that I
would do differently next time are: organize my time management more efficiently, also try to
come up with more creative ideas and film more footage which would be relevant to my
documentary.
