1. President Robert Maher, Jr. called the Saturday, June 17th, 2017 meeting to order at 3:11 p.m.
at the Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf’s Board Room.
David Fulmer and Tracey Marchese were absent (EXCUSED).
The minutes of April 28th, 2017 was approved as read.

COMMUNICATION

- received a letter from Ms Barbara Hast (Lawrence Hast’s mother) if John Hast
Technology Fund has not been in use, move to Museum Fund
OFFICERS’ REPORTS
President Robert Maher, Jr.
1) decided to run for President
2) asked anyone who is planning on staying (only one mentioned that (s)he will leave)
3) “Gold Leaf’ Alumni Tree – got one for Mary Pelton
4) tentative plan – for WPSD’s 150th Anniversary – year-long – starting on Sept. 6, 2019
Treasurer Todd Langer reported that he has filled out and mailed the 2016 IRS.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Thomas DeFazio gave his report about the Alumni Reunion – 110 people registered so far.
Paul Blahut left the meeting.

NEW BUSINESS
EB 2017-19 Tony Dumblosky (seconded) moved that we sell these old WPSD Yearbooks
for $10.00 each.
Rosie Noschese (seconded) amended that we replace “$5.00” with “$10.00”.
CARRIED AS AMENDED
EB 2017-20 John Noschese (seconded) moved that we transfer the money in the John Hast
Technology Fund to the Museum Fund. Valentine Wojton, III (seconded) moved to table this
motion for two years. TABLED UNTIL 6/17/19
EB2017-21 Thomas DeFazio (seconded) moved that we order food for our dinner on
Friday, June 23, 2017 and the Alumni takes care of the expenses. CARRIED
The meeting was adjourned at 4:42 p.m.
