This document proposes a simple field method to measure external force, power output, and effectiveness of force application during sprint acceleration. It involves modeling sprint speed using a curve and computing net horizontal force and power output over time. The method has been validated against force plates and applied to analyze elite sprinters including Usain Bolt. The data collected can be used for applications in coaching, training, and injury management and prevention by providing a force-velocity-power profile of individual athletes.
Parkour originated in France in the early 20th century based on indigenous physical training methods observed in Africa. Georges Hébert developed the "Method Naturelle" which emphasized natural movements like running, jumping, climbing and was adopted by the French military to train soldiers. Raymond Belle learned these techniques and passed them to his son David Belle, who went on to found the Yamakasi group and popularize parkour. Parkour focuses on efficient movement over obstacles in the environment without equipment through techniques like vaulting and rolling. While no formal rules exist, safety is emphasized through practicing basic movements before attempting more advanced skills.
Deanna Jones-Guinasso was a pioneer in women's bodybuilding in the 1970s, helping to organize early competitions in Northern California. In the 1990s, she patented exercise equipment including the ButtMaster®. Throughout her career, she competed in various athletic events for over 20 years and still participates in long distance equine racing. Currently, she is promoting her new invention the Primal Torque®, which is designed to strengthen the gluteus maximus muscle in an anatomically correct way and provide both strength and cosmetic benefits such as reducing "saddle bags".

How many miles is a 5k, 10k, half and full marathonRahul Shinde
A 5K run is approximately 3.1 miles. To prepare for a 5K run over several weeks, runners should gradually increase their weekly mileage from 10-15 miles per week. The key is to slowly build up distance and avoid injury by increasing mileage every other week. On race day, runners can feel confident with proper diet, sleep, and training leading up to the event.
Parkour is a physical discipline created by David Belle that uses movement to overcome obstacles in a person's environment. It focuses on strengthening both the mind and body by challenging one's abilities without technology. The force exerted on a traceur varies depending on their mass, acceleration, and time based on Newton's Second Law. Parkour has impacted many through its philosophy and is used in movies, video games, and to train military and law enforcement personnel.

Using technology to train smarter and race fasterbluffbusters
Getting faster at triathlon requires improving efficiency in swimming, biking, and running through both equipment upgrades and technique refinements. Some key areas of focus include:
- Lowering drag through optimized body positioning, aerodynamic equipment like helmets and bikes, and tight-fitting apparel. Proper drafting and using aero bars can also reduce drag while biking.
- Increasing power with optimized bike setups like compact gearing for hills and high-cadence pedaling styles that recruit different muscle fibers. Monitoring metrics like power and heart rate allows for targeted training.
- Improving efficiency on the bike through reducing rolling resistance with properly inflated high-performance tires and maintaining optimal cadence and
