It trains local health activists, one for each village, to provide health education and ensure pregnant women receive antenatal checkups, institutional delivery, immunizations and more. Since starting, Save a Mother has trained 192 health activists covering 150 villages, and facilitated antenatal checkups, nutrition, and institutional deliveries for pregnant women. The program aims to develop affordable and scalable healthcare solutions through community health workers and partnerships with other organizations.
