No âmbito do projeto ERASMUS+ " Learn and play with ICT" os alunos do 2º G da E.B 1 Pontes de Marchil e do 3º e 4º I da E.B. 1 do Ancão, realizaram mais um trabalho para apresentar aos parceiros do projeto. Desta vez vez com a realização de um e-book sobre uma lenda algarvia: "A Lenda das amendoeiras em flor".

2. Once upon a time, when the Algarve was know as Al Garb and was
ruled by the Moors and his young Prince, happen a fantastic story that
you have to know...

3. One day the young Prince met Gilda, a Nordic Princess, and they fell
madly in love with each other.

4. They married immediately and lived in their beautiful palace from
that day on.

5. As time went, Gilda began to pine... she missed seeing the snow covered
fields of her homeland.

6. . Her prince was saddened to see his beautiful wife so melancholic and
tried everything in his power to make her happy, but still her heart
ached.

7. One day, whilst riding through the countryside, the Prince hit upon a
great plan. He ordered thousands of almond trees to be planted from the
walls of the palace, down into the countryside as far as the eye could see.

8. When the time was right (in the end of the winter, beginning of the
spring) and the almond trees were in full bloom...

9. The Prince strode
into Gilda’s
chambers where she
lay and ordered all
the windows to be
opened. Taking his
fair Princess by the
hand, he led her to
one of the highest
palace balconies.

10. As she looked out at the beautiful scene before her, she was
amazed to see that the fields below were covered in what looked
like snow. For miles and miles in every direction, the beautiful
trees looked frosty and the ground was carpeted in almond
blossom.

11. Gilda recovered from her sadness immediately and, from that time on,
she looked upon the fields and never pined for her homeland again.
And so the Prince and the Princess lived happily ever after.
