PORTLAND WELCOMES NEXT GENERATION OF LEADERS
WITH YWCA OFFKEY 2010 CELEBRATION, JUNE 26
What: The YWCA of Greater Portland is officially welcoming the city’s next generation
of leaders with a celebration and a karaoke contest modeled after “American
Idol.” The public (21+ older) is invited to come celebrate, perform karaoke after
the contest, and enjoy food, music and spirits provided by local vendors.
Conceptualized and executed by the YWCA’s
Leadership Board, Offkey ‘10 represents young
professionals active in fundraising, advocacy,
outreach and marketing within the Portland
Metro Area.

Hosts Karaoke Auditions
WHAT: Do you have what it takes to rock out for
a great cause? The YWCA of Greater
Portland’s Leadership Board will be
hosting auditions for Offkey 2010 and
they’re seeking the city’s top karaoke
talent. If you can hold any sort of tune,
please sign-up, space is limited.
The Leadership Board is an established
auxiliary board of the YWCA of Greater
Portland and is comprised of a group of
emerging leaders active in fundraising, YWCA of Greater Portland Leadership Board will be

Top auditions will perform at Offkey 2010 on June 26, 2010. An event in which the
Leadership Board will welcome the next generation of leaders to a night of
karaoke, cocktails and conversations at Portland’s Wieden + Kennedy. 300 people
attended Offkey 2009 and the event raised about $20,000.
