Carlito Malvar Ong is a 15-year-old student in La Salle studying to become a policeman. As a child, he dreamed of becoming a seaman but was inspired by his friends' goals of becoming soldiers. Currently, he values his time at La Salle for the good memories and opportunities it provides. His goal is to graduate high school, pass the PNPA exam to become a policeman, have a family of his own in the future.

Both techniques can be combined, with skimming first to determine interest followed by scanning to locate specific information.
