Alice-LandSeeksTo Challenge Audiences at Greensboro Fringe Festival
Greensboro, NC
Local theatre company, Red Queen Productions, seeks to spark thought and discourse using
different takes on the classic characters found in their upcoming production, Alice-Land.
Drawing from the timeless novel, Alice in Wonderland, this play with music holds a magnifying
glass to the universal themes accompanying young women as they grow – abuse, manipulation,
violence… and what it takes to change the narrative.
Chris Tilley wrote and composed Alice-Land. At the directorial helm is Patty Adkins. Gray
Bobbit is the production’s assistant director. Theodore J. Branham designed the set and executed
its construction.
Alice-Land will be presented by the 15th Annual Greensboro Fringe Festival at the Stephen D.
Hyers Theatre January 28th at 8pm, January 29th at 2pm, and January 30th at 8pm. Admission is a
suggested donation of $10.00. To keep up with Alice-Land as well as other Red Queen
Productions happenings, check out their official Facebook page and Instagram account,
