Evelyn Cisneros was introduced to ballet at age 7 through her mother and quickly fell in love with it, showing natural talent. She was very dedicated, skipping lunch and leaving school early to attend ballet classes over an hour away in San Francisco. As a dancer with the San Francisco Ballet, she brought joy to audiences and inspired many young dancers. In addition, she helped people with AIDS through a food delivery program, radiating positivity. Her early instructor Michael Smuin played a significant role in her development and success as a ballerina.
