To whom it may concern;
I am writing this letter so that companies can receive a better look at the capabilities of Alan W.
Feigenbaum.
Before my retirement I had thirty eight years of employment with Albertson's Inc. All thirty
eight years were in the general office in Boise, ldaho. I had five years of accounting and thirty
three years in operations. My last nineteen years were in dairy operations.
Ifirst met Alan in the Carnation plant in Phoenix Arizona. Carnation was supplying our Arizona
stores with their Carnation dairy products and all of the Albertsons fluid private label dairy
products. Alan was fairly new in the field and he was calling on all the Albertsons Arizona
stores. Alan learned his job extremely well and quickly!
When Albertson's dairy suppliers went bankrupt in Texas, I moved our private label business to
a dairy which is now Dean Foods. With all this new volume in Texas, the company informed me
that they would have someone to cover all our stores. I asked them to consider hiring Alan out
of Phoenix. After they interviewed him, they hired him immediately!
Alan has a terrific work ethic that any company would be pleased with. He strives to
thoroughly know his job, his goal, and what the customers want. Because of these traits,
Albertson's general office and division offices relied on Alan; he was well liked by all of the
Albertson's management. Alan was very competent working with Albertson's general office,
division offices, our store personnel and our distribution centers. ln Phoenix Alan handled all
the distribution of the Albertson's ice cream that Carnation produced for Albertson's; this
included distribution in Arizona, Southern California, New Mexico and Nevada.
I am very sincere when I tell you that you will be very pleased with the loyalty, dedication, and
work ethic that Alan possess!
