Akbar the Great was regarded as a great ruler for several reasons. He established a large and effective provincial administration system across his empire. Akbar also implemented the Mansabdari system, which was useful for organizing his large army. However, the last days of Akbar's reign were full of grief as he struggled to find an heir after the deaths of two of his sons.
