PROJECTS
Sentimental Analysis of Twitter Data for Movie Reviews April-June 2016
• Data to be analyzed for a movie is collected using Twitter streaming API and stored in Hadoop distributed file
system.
• MapReduce job is written in Hive to analyze and classify the tweets as positive or negative tweets. A cumulative
score of positive and negative tweets is calculated and from which the percentage of success is defined.
Atkins Farms Country Market Database April-June 2016
• Gathered the requirements and constraints from the Manager at Atkins Farms. Designed an Entity Relationship
Diagram from the requirements.
• Created the tables with input data using Oracle and queried the database.
Orange HRM July-August 2015
• From Software Requirements Specification Test scenarios were devised and then positive and negative test
cases were formed.
• Requirement Traceability Matrix was created for the requirements specified in the SRS and Defect report was
created for the test cases that failed.
Statistical Static Timing Analyzer April-June 2015
• Developed a Python code that implements the block-based algorithm that evaluates the minimum and
maximum arrival time at each node.
• Recursively computes the overall arrival time at the output of the circuit. The heuristic implemented was
simulated annealing.
Cache Simulator January-March 2015
• Designed a Cache Module that can simulate the different cache memories at any level in the memory hierarchy
using a C++ code.
• The cache implemented the Least Recently Used (LRU) policy and also Write through and No allocate policy.
