Volunteer James Pickard has donated approximately 100 hours of service over several years to Advocates For Freedom (AFF), an organization that works to raise awareness of human trafficking in Mississippi and assists victims. Mr. Pickard's specialty is surveillance, and he has conducted over 92 hours of surveillance for AFF, including monitoring hotels, truck stops, and casinos. This surveillance has led to several cases being reviewed by law enforcement. Mr. Pickard has also trained other volunteers in surveillance techniques and participated in a "Stiletto Walk" event to raise awareness of human trafficking.
