The AFCEA demonstration plan outlines several wireless technologies that will be showcased at a technet demonstration in January 2007, including a WiMAX point-to-point link between the convention center and Point Loma supporting video and IP telephony, a secure 802.11 mesh network on the convention center floor, and Ethernet over optical capability.
