This document presents data on the estimated percentage of children using inhaled short acting beta agonists for asthma by state from 2006-2010, according to the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System Asthma Call-back Survey. It provides the sample size, percentage using short acting beta agonists, standard error and 95% confidence interval for each state and territory, as well as median, range and total for 36 states. The data finds variation across states in percentage of children with asthma using short acting beta agonists, from a low of 28.5% to a high of 57%.
