This document contains 44 exercises written by Douglas Tate in 1976 to train chromatic harmonica players. It includes the original handwritten manuscript pages alongside printed versions. The exercises utilize different note groupings and rhythmic variations to develop playing technique and strengthen muscles. In 2008, Douglas's wife Barbara and friend Cheng Jang Ming published the exercises, preserving the manuscript pages as a memento of Douglas's work. The exercises provide a practice tool and unique insight into Douglas Tate's approach to chromatic harmonica training.
