ROANOKE, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Advance Auto Parts, Inc. (NYSE: AAP), the largest automotive

do-it-yourself customers, today announced that Todd Greener has been
appointed Senior Vice President, Supply Chain. Mr. Greener will lead the
Company's Supply Chain function in its efforts to support Advance's
stores and customers. Mr. Greener will be instrumental in executing
Advance's system-wide supply chain integration and transportation
strategy. Mr. Greener will report to Charles Tyson, Executive Vice
President, Merchandising, Marketing and Supply Chain, and will be based
in Raleigh, NC.

Mr. Greener spent over 20 years at General Electric Company, most
recently serving as General Manager, Appliance Distribution Operations
within GE Appliances. He also held leadership positions within GE
Transportation, GE Lighting, and GE Corporate Audit Staff. Mr. Greener
holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman
Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN.
