The admission process will be started after the release of the admission list or cut-off. The university will offer admission through a merit basis or entrance test. Students will be able to apply for admission as per their choice of respective courses. DU Counselling process will be organized through offline mode.

2. REGISTRATION PROCESS
The first step towards the admission in Delhi
University is registration.
1.Both Online and Offline registration.
2.DU announces Dates for the registration
process.(28th May last year)
3.DU announces names of the colleges in which you
can register offline.
4.Students needs to fill the OMR forms between the
given period of time.(9:30am to 3:00pm last year)

3. RESERVATION
• OTHER BACKWARD CLASS – 27%
• SCHEDULED CASTES - 15%
• SCHEDULED TRIBE - 7.5%
• PWD - 3%

5. CUT-OFF DECLARTION
1.EVERY COLLEGE ANNOUNCES CUT-OFF FOR THE
ADMISSION.
2.THE CUTOFF PERCENTAGE DEPENDS UPON THE,LAST
YEARS CUTOFF, NUMBERS OF STUDENTS REGISTERED
AND MANY OTHER FACTORS CONSIDERED BY THE
ADMISSION COMITTEE OF THE COLLEGE.
3.COLLEGES UPLOAD THE CUTOFF ON THEIR WEBSITE
AND DELHI UNIVERSITY UPLOADS THE COMBINED
CUTOFF OF EVERY COLLEGE AND LEADING NEWSPAPERS.
4.DIFFRENT CUTOFF FOR GENERAL AND OTHER
CATEGORIES.

7. ADMISSION
After declaration of the cut-off ,the candidate will
need to report to the college of his choice for
admission within stipulated period with the
following documents.
1.10 & 12TH MARKSHEET
2.CHARATER CERTIFICATE
3.CATEGORY CERTIFICATE
4.OMR FORM
5.TRANSFER CERTIFICATE , etc

8. • After that stage , The candidate would required
to fill the college form and university enrolment
form,
• The candidate would then get his documents
verified, submit the same to the college and pay
the admission fee.
• The college shall retain the
documents/certificated during the admission
process

9. IN CASE OF WITHDRAWAL OF
ADMISSION
The documents are retained by the college
and shall be promptly returned in case ,
he/she cancels his admission or has to appear
in counseling of any other university/institute
or in order to move to another college on
declaration of subsequent cut off lists.
