Instructions to candidates:

1. Download B.Des. application form, fill in the details and send by SPEED POST to
CHAIRMAN, UCEED 2015
GATE-JAM-CEED OFFICE
IIT BOMBAY
POWAI, MUMBAI – 400 076
2. Completed Application form along with the necessary documents and Demand Draft of
Rs. 500/- should reach the UCEED office, IIT Bombay on or before June 30, 2015.
3. Demand Draft should be drawn in favour of “Registrar, IIT Bombay” payable at
Mumbai
4. Keep a scanned copy of all the documents, including application and DD for future
reference
5. Application form received after the due date will not be considered for admission
6. Candidates should check “B. Des. Application Status” on the UCEED website in order to
track the progress of their application
7. The first round of admission will be announced on 3rd
July 2015. Category wise
admission will be based on the ranks obtained by the candidates.
8. If the selected candidates do not pay the fees before the deadline or decline the
admission, their application will stand cancelled. These vacant seats will be filled during
the second round of admissions on 12th
July 2015.
9. If these selected candidates in the second admission list do not pay the fees before the
deadline or decline the admission, their application will stand cancelled. If vacant seats
still exist, a selected number of applicants (depending on the number of available vacant
seats), who are on the top of the remaining rank list, will be called for spot admission
prior to the UG orientation at IIT Bombay (the exact date will be intimated to the
applicants).
10. It is the responsibility of the candidate to be present in person with the necessary
documents and fees for such spot admissions. Spot admission will also be based on the
category wise rank and hence is not guaranteed for all those who are present during the
spot admission.
11. After paying the fees, if the candidates do not withdraw their admission before the
deadline, the fees will not be refunded under any circumstances.
